In a Barangay with an awareness to a modern technologies especially the communication through world wide web, most of its citizens are now relying on it. They can now easily understand things in just one click especially using of networking site such as facebook. Many of the people living there had their dreams to change their lives by deciding to go abroad as an OFW. Most of them are not aware with what is happening with their beloved place, childhood friends and neighborhoods. As a result, they go back home as if they didn't live and grow up with that place.
Being a concerned citizen of Barangay Bagasbas, I thought of something good to be done for my fellow "Namamaranggays". I formed an online organization with the mission of helping To facilitate communications and distribution of information between citizens aboutBarangay Bagasbas and "Namamaranggays".
Maybe for some people (hopefully not) are thinking that this page is against the Barangay council. Well in fact, this is an initiative for what I can do for the Government and for its people for the value purposes that our work with its netizens will be guided and informed by our beliefs and commitments to:
- Unity - we respect "Namamarangays", value diversity and are committed to equality.
- Belongingness - we value and recognize the contribution of netizens within Bagasbas organisations and communities.
- Neighborhood - we strive for excellence through continuous helping to the one that is forming the community.
- Awareness - we are committed to a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
Our VISSION for this page is to be an inclusive and equitable web society that values "Namamarangays" and actively enables and celebrates their contribution to this. We are also recognizing our citizen's achievements and other significance to their lives. For now, this organization do not have a juridical personality yet. Hopefully it will follow soon...
In case of unreasonable decisions or in bad faith ideas coming from the leaders of the Barangay, this page will speak through BAGASBAS NETIZENS...
